4×4 Calcudoku

Fill every row and column with each digit from 1 to 4 once, and make the digits in each dashed cage reach the clue in its corner: a number and a sign, as in 12× or 3−.

How to play

  1. Put each digit from 1 to the grid’s size once in every row and every column.
  2. Each cage has a clue, a number and a sign. 12× means the digits multiply to 12; 7+ means they add to 7.
  3. − and ÷ are only used on two-cell cages, and the order of the two digits does not matter.
  4. A cage with no sign may use any of the four. A cage may repeat a digit when its cells share no row or column.
